Whilst the government grapple with what to do with Commercial Rents/Leases and
Business Owners suffering from Lockdowns and closures, the main advice we are
giving is as follows:
- DO Communicate with your landlord (see below)
- DO request Rent Pauses or Reductions
- DON’T enter into any new formal arrangements, be they variations or new leases in their entirety.
- DON’T stick your head in the sand, communication is key. Legislation is currently being considered which will affect tenants and landlords rights.
